Moon/Spica Conjunction


   Sunday evening June 4th the 10-day old waxing gibbous Moon will be within about 6o from the blue-white star Spica in the constellation Virgo the Harvest Maiden.

  1. It is 11:43 pm Central Standard time. The Moon and Spica appear to be in a close conjunction tonight June 3, 2017. The Moon and Spica appear to be less than 5 feet from each other.
